Kansas Longarm Quilters

Welcome to the

Kansas Longarm Quilters

Our group was established in 2011 and we welcome

machine quilters of all skill levels and machine types, from longarm to the domestic sewing machine quilter.

Our goal is to make a positive difference in the lives of the machine quilter.  We offer machine quilters a resource for fellowship, support and assistance, and educational opportunities.  In this process, the competencies and creativity of all quilters are recognized, valued, and respected.

All General Meetings are held at:

A-1 Singer Sewing Center

Parklane Shopping Center

1012 S. Oliver, Wichita, KS

Doors open for conversation at 9:30am

on the 3rd Saturday of

Next Meeting:

August 20, 2016

Part 4: Rulers and Tools

Part 5: Applying Binding with your Longarm

For this meeting we are asking everyone to bring their favorite tool and we plan to take some time to talk about as many as we can and demo those that seem to be the bast and most versatile. There are so many companies we will try to cover as many as we can.

We will then move to applying the binding by longarm, where a couple of cool tools are used as well.
