Our June speaker and instructor is Trish Maxwell of Journey Quilt Company located in Oklahoma City, OK.
Trish will talk about her love of quilting and her belief that the transformation of t-shirts and traditional clothing into cohesive, personalized quilts is the foundation of her business, Journey Quilt Company.
She uses her own personal ‘Mosaic’ style of piecing, which solves a lot of problems encountered with traditional t-shirt quilting methods. Her method has been revised and refined to artistic precision and will be shared in her presentation.
Trish’s presentation will include a trunk show of T-shirt, Shadow Box, and Legacy quilts using her Mosaic/Collage techniques.

• Destash Bash: destash: verb. To remove (thread, fabric, equipment, etc.) from one’s collection. Clean those sewing rooms, closets, boxes, totes, and anywhere else you stash your stuff (or stuff your stash). We’re setting up a trade/donate/sell table. Mark each item with your name and price, and have fun with your fellow guild members.
• Show and Share: Bring your finished quilts and/or works in progress.
• Raffle tickets: Tickets are $1 each or 6 tickets for only $5. Bring a visitor and you both get one free ticket!
